Today we visited an artist that goes by the name Ta Loon. She represented the Second Life island named the Goeth Institute. We were sent here to look at some highly political messages that were come from minds all the way out in Germany. I was a little confused though during the artist talk about Ta Loon and what was the real purpose about everything. It seemed like she kept talking on different aspects of life that had no central theme. The place she let us visit was a great idea I thought. It had a lot of vertical room, meaning there were platforms in the area that also had content on it that you can see in the pictures that I posted up. There was an interest concept of where she wanted us to pick up a block in a massive floating platform. I believe this was used as a calling card in case we ever want to come back, plus she wanted to reach a goal of clearing all the blocks first. In my my eyes that's a little bit more of a marketing move than an art project. Anyways, the visit was a little strange and left me in confusion. I don't know if I really have any reason to go back.
